Gary Dunne is a London-based songwriter and musician. Born and bred in the heart of Ireland, Gary is now based in Camden Town, North London.

Having built up a significant grassroots fan-base opening for artists like Duke Special, Nizlopi, Damien Rice and Joseph Arthur, Gary releases music, directly to the fans on his own label, Honest Records. His debut album Twenty Twenty Fiction was released to critical acclaim in 2005, and scored an unexpected top twenty chart position.

The new album, Simple Truth, is a collection of hard-hitting folk pop songs. The twelve tracks fuse chopped beats with organic, mature musicianship and maintain a unique and original voice throughout. Full to the brim with melody and heart, Simple Truth sits comfortably in the edgier realms of modern roots-based music.
